Meet Lauren Trombino-Walleser

I grew up collecting stones and seashells, feeling the energy of trees, and sensing animals had more to tell us if we just knew how to listen. I spent a lot of time in my head as a kid, writing stories and wondering why I felt so different from many of my peers. As I began to connect with family and friends who felt similar things, I started to understand that magic is real, and that any of us can tap into it at any time.

Once I learned how to connect with the energy of the Earth, I began to embrace my own magic and trust that we are all connected through the infinite, divine energy of the cosmos. I learned that being sensitive isn’t something to be ashamed of or fear. I learned that empathy can be one of our greatest gifts. I learned that as we face our insecurities and traumas, we can transmute pain into strength as we allow ourselves to be brave and vulnerable. I’ve learned that everything we face is meant to direct us on the path towards our most authentic self, and that healing and connection with Spirit are available to everyone.

I was introduced to the Japanese energy healing tradition of Reiki in my early twenties, and it profoundly changed my life. It’s helped me get in touch with the deepest truths of who I am, develop the confidence to follow my dreams, and open my heart to receiving unconditional love. It’s helped me establish healthy boundaries, tap into the deepest wells of my creativity, and shown me exactly what stories want to be told through me. It’s helped me know, without a doubt, that I am love. Reiki knows what we need most. It helps us listen. It shows us what we need to see and brings to the surface everything we need to release or embrace to live our truest, fullest lives. As we take the time to cultivate radical self-love and acceptance, we grow our capacity to love and accept all that is, work for collective change, and help heal the planet.

I completed my Reiki I training in 2010, Reiki II training in 2012, Reiki Master training in 2021, and Reiki Master-Teacher training in 2024. Along with therapy, medication, herbal remedies, meditation, and other tools, Reiki helps me manage my OCD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and chronic pain. I continue to learn, grow, and evolve, helping others as much as I can along our healing journeys. Sharing Reiki with others and witnessing the benefits they receive in mind, body and spirit is an honor and a joy. I love holding space for people, whether they’re brand new to energy healing, very familiar with it, or a fellow practitioner. After nearly 15 years of practicing Reiki, I am thrilled to begin teaching my own Reiki classes in Fall 2024.

In addition to practicing energy healing, tarot, and astrology, I am also an empath and a witch. I continue to discover more of my gifts as I study other modalities and forms of magic. Ultimately, I am guided by my intuition and connection to Spirit, as well as the support of my ancestors and guides. I often receive messages from Spirit during Reiki and meditation, for myself, the world, and my clients.

I was born and raised on unceded Tequesta, Taino, Seminole, Mascogo, and Miccosukee land (also called Southeast Florida) and have lived on unceded Pawtucket and Massachussett land (also called Somerville, Massachusetts) for over a decade. I live with my beautiful wife, our sweet dog, and many plant babies. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m of Irish, Scottish, German, Swiss, and English descent. I feel particularly connected to the Celtic and Germanic folk medicine and magical traditions of my ancestors, as well as Southern mystical traditions. I come from generations of intuitive women and healers, and I’m honored to carry on these traditions in my own ways.

I received a BA in Theater and Creative Writing from Florida State University in 2007 and an MA in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Florida Atlantic University in 2011. I’ve worked as a writer, editor, teacher, public speaker, activist, actor, comedian, arts administrator, and more. I am currently seeking publication for my first novel.

All are welcome to my healing practice. I believe that magic and healing should be accessible to anyone, and that money and distance should never be barriers to receiving services. If additional support is needed due to income, please contact me at lauren@heronkind.com for options.

I look forward to connecting and sharing the gifts of Reiki, astrology, tarot, and magic with you!
